Our Pathfinder program is designed to develop relationships - relationships between Pathfinders, between Pathfinders and their leaders, and most importantly between Pathfinders and God.
These relationships develop in a fun-filled active community, where the learning of concepts, facts and skills underscore the development of Christian values and attitudes. (Pathfinder Manual, SPD Youth Department)
Pathfinders will fill in some gaps in the life experience of your child, but it won’t develop their attitudes and values of its own. Children will gain maximum benefit from our pathfinder program with the full support of their parents. You can support our pathfinder club and your child’s progress by:
- Motivating your child to attend regularly and participate in as many activities as possible.
- Positively contributing to the pathfinder club through active involvement in Hall meetings, campouts and fundraiser events.
- Upholding the behaviour code of the pathfinder club.
- Promptly paying fees by the due date.
- Praying for God’s blessing on the year’s events.
